The O-Shot – PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)

At Our Esteem Clinics

The O-Shot is an advanced procedure that can help to restore your sexual confidence as well as help improve urinary incontinence. It is a non-surgical procedure that uses PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma: your body’s own natural growth factors) to stimulate the vaginal and clitoral areas to activate the female orgasm.

The O-Shot is a revolutionary approach to restoring the sensations you’ve lost or perhaps never had.

The O-Shot is also an effective treatment for stress urinary incontinence, which is the unintentional urination that can occur during physical activity. Many women lose urine when coughing, laughing, sneezing or exercising. This is caused by a weakening of the pelvic muscles, often caused in childbirth. The O-Shot activates stem cells in the localized region, muscle tissues are able to regenerate and improve their strength and ability to control urine flow.

The O-Shot Procedure

An initial consultation is required to ensure the client is fully educated on the procedure and what to expect. The treatment can be performed immediately after your first consultation.

PRP Therapy promotes cell regeneration by extracting and then injecting your own blood back into the skin. A small amount of blood is drawn from your arm at the time of the procedure. Your blood is then spun in a centrifuge which separates the plasma and platelets from the rest of the blood. The platelets are isolated and then injected back into the body wherever their benefits are needed. Numbing cream is applied to the area. For this procedure, the PRP is injected near the clitoris and into the area of the upper vagina that is most important for the sexual response, the O-Spot. The high concentration of platelets in PRP release growth factors & proteins that activate stems cells and stimulate cellular repair and regeneration wherever they are applied in the body. In addition, collagen production and the formation of new blood vessels occurs post PRP therapy and further aids in tissue repair.

O-Shot Therapy is considered to be relatively pain-free due to the numbing cream. However, individual pain tolerances effect how painful a PRP injection is. Clients may resume normal daily activities immediately post treatment, including sexual intercourse.

The Results

Many women experience an improvement in their urinary stress incontinence almost immediately or within 48 hours of treatment. An improvement in sensation may take three weeks to six months.

Recent studies have shown that the effects of the O-Shot can last up to 5 years. Results are individual and some clients may require further top-up treatments.
