Introducing the Vampire Facelift

At Our Esteem Clinics

As we age, our faces shrink in specific places, due to the loss of bone; and soft tissues, such as the fat pads that support the cheeks, lips and brows. We lose the rosy glow of youth as the blood supply to our face diminishes, and our skin starts to lose its colour. Skin texture becomes less smooth, and the facial shape collapses. The fine skin under the eyes becomes thinner and more ‘crepey’. The Vampire Facelift® can help with these common concerns.

The Vampire Facelift is a non-surgical procedure that infuses a sample of PRP (platelet-rich-plasma) back into the skin to gently restore volume and regenerate collagen production, restoring youthful volume to the face. The treatment involves injecting PRP back into the skin to stimulate the body’s “healing response” to improve the skin’s texture, tone and natural glow of the skin. Cosmetic fillers can also be used to further enhance the effects of this treatment to create and enhance shape, as well as replace volume in areas of the face.

Treatment Areas:

  • Pre-mature sagging of facial skin
  • Crepey skin under the eyes
  • Loss of facial volume in the cheeks
  • Dull, grey skin tone
  • Mouth corners
  • Lip shape
  • Eyebrows

The Vampire Facelift Procedure

An initial consultation is required to ensure the client is fully educated on the procedure and what to expect. The treatment can be performed immediately after your first consultation.

The Vampire Face Lift is a non-surgical procedure that uses a sample of PRP (platelet-rich-plasma) which is injected into the area being treated. The treatment is delivered through a series of micro-injections to various areas of the face to alleviate fine lines and wrinkles, adding youthful volume and improving the appearance and quality of the skin. PRP Therapy promotes cell regeneration by extracting and then injecting your own blood back into the skin. This treatment can also be combined with natural, reversible Hyaluronic Acid fillers for enhanced results.

A small amount of blood is drawn from your arm at the time of the procedure. Your blood is then spun in a centrifuge which separates the plasma and platelets from the rest of the blood. The platelets are then injected back into the body through a syringe. The high concentration of platelets in PRP release growth factors & proteins that activate stem cells and stimulate cellular repair and regeneration wherever they are applied in the body. In addition, collagen production and the formation of new blood vessels occurs post PRP therapy and further aids in tissue repair.

The client may experience a slight stinging sensation during treatment. If this becomes too uncomfortable, a local anaesthetic cream may be applied to the area where the injections are administered.

Vampire Facial VS Vampire Facelift: What’s the difference?

Both treatments take advantage of the healing power of PRP to rejuvenate the skin. The main difference between the Vampire Face Lift and the Vampire Facial is that the Vampire Face Lift injects the PRP back into the skin for enhanced results whereas the Vampire facial infuses the PRP into the skin through skin-needling. The Vampire Face lift can also be combined with fillers to further enhance the results.
